Comet 5 White Light Scanner

With its multiple measuring volumes and automated scanning, Steinbichler Comet 5 white light 3d scanning system has taken the 3D scanning / digitizing process to a new level.

The combination of the proven one-camera technique and the newly developed projection technology guarantees high-speed measurements as well as excellent data quality. COMET 5 completes all measurements fast and accurately and is therefore ideally suited for efficient use in quality control next to the production line.

Leica Laser Tracker

The Leica Absolute Tracker AT402 is the most portable 3D Absolute Tracker for traditional inspection tasks or for fully guided measurement processes. It is able to be powered by its own internal battery and is able to work in the most demanding environment, yet maintains the highest level of precision and the largest ever work envelope.

Faro Laser Scanner

The Faro Edge Scan Arm HD is the latest metrology grade scanner to be introduced by Faro. Combined with its rapid data acquisition, and very high 3D scanning resolution, this highly portable CMM is proving to be indispensable. The new blue light laser technology enables the user to scan a variety of different materials, even ones with high reflectivity, without using any special coatings. The new blue light laser comes with a wider stripe and a higher number of measured points per second while producing results with a very low noise ratio. This is achieved by using the HDR (High Dynamic Range) Mode and advanced software settings. The highly accurate attached onboard probe is a mobile CMM machine that measures features and surfaces with an accuracy of one-thousandth of an inch. This machine is a good fit for a variety of applications, including Reverse Engineering, Inspection/verification of as-built parts, gauge calibration and certification, Gage R&R, and first article inspection. Very quick setup, calibration, and high rate of 3D scanning make this a formidable tool.

Zeiss CMM

Our Zeiss CMM features some of the world’s most accurate touch point measurements. Using automated CMM programming we can check large volumes of parts in a short amount of time, all while maintaining micron-level accuracy.

Surphaser Laser Scanner

Known for its unsurpassed accuracy and scan quality, the Surphaser line of scanners offers both short-range and medium-range models ideal for use in reverse engineering, dimensional control, BIM, historical preservation, architecture, and forensics.

Imetric 3D Photogrammetry

The ICam Photogrammetry systems are high-accuracy portable CMMs. They can be used to determine the 3D coordinates of targets, points materialized with adapters as well as of features. The system is extremely portable, i.e. the measurement system comes to the workpiece. The ease of use, flexibility, speed, and accuracy is unsurpassed. Even very large objects like ships and bridges can be measured.

I approached Applications 3D with an existing 3D scan file that I didn’t know what to do with. After speaking with Raminder over the phone, we scheduled an appointment same day to review the file. He looked at my file, and gave me a quote for his service - to produce a Step file that could be used to CNC a master mold from the shape that I had scanned. He was finished with the design in 1 week, but there was a slight issue which I brought to his attention, and he immediately worked on creating a solution, which was resolved by the end of that same day!! I honestly couldn’t be more happy with the result, and very much look forward to working together with Raminder & his company again for more 3D modeling work.
