CMM Contract Inspection

We offer high accuracy, fast CMM Contract Inspection. Full 2d print layouts, including GD&T evaluations, are carried out on our Zeiss Eclipse CNC CMM machine. With this high accuracy, the calibrated machine provides precise measurements including third-party inspection, capabilities studies, FAI( first article inspection), statistical analysis, Gage R&R studies, etc. Any workpiece up to 6,000 lbs can be handled in our facility. Also, bigger workpieces can be measured at the customer site, with our portable CMM machines.

Since starting in 2003, we have completed thousands of successful projects for customers around North America and Europe, who hail from a wide array of industries. Our 3D scanning service facility provides us the ability to provide expert services to conquer any job.

cmm check touch point — The CMM machine is very capable of a multitude of parts. Even the most complex parts are able to be measured with great precision.

Faro Quantum arm portable CMM — In addition to our in-house Zeiss CMM machine, we also have a portable option that can come onsite. Thanks to the Faro Quantum S being very portable many onsite CMM jobs can be accomplished very quickly. For example, one use onsite would be for fixture verification.

I approached Applications 3D with an existing 3D scan file that I didn’t know what to do with. After speaking with Raminder over the phone, we scheduled an appointment same day to review the file. He looked at my file, and gave me a quote for his service - to produce a Step file that could be used to CNC a master mold from the shape that I had scanned. He was finished with the design in 1 week, but there was a slight issue which I brought to his attention, and he immediately worked on creating a solution, which was resolved by the end of that same day!! I honestly couldn’t be more happy with the result, and very much look forward to working together with Raminder & his company again for more 3D modeling work.
